We are always looking for qualified ICC Combination Residential and Commercial inspectors to join our team.

Position Overview

Hybrid Work Structure - combination of remote work and in-person training at home office in Aldie, VA
Company-issued laptop
Medical insurance eligibility after 90 days of employment
Salary Range: $45 - $65K based on experience, skills, and qualifications

Qualifications

Problem-solver
Highly organized
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience in admin, operations, logistics, or project coordination

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience in construction, permitting, and/or inspections
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping software (such as QuickBooks)

ICC Certified Inspector

Qualifications

Candidate must possess an International Code Council (ICC) Certification in all or some of the following COMMERCIAL trades: Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Green.
3 + years’ experience in commercial construction inspections (preferably in Washington, DC)
Must have reliable personal transportation to and from multiple job sites within DC Metro area

Responsibilities

Perform 3rd Party Code field inspections of commercial properties during various stages of construction.
Evaluate commercial construction for compliance with approved plans, the appropriate codes, and other applicable regulations.
Maintain detailed records and reports related to inspection activities.
Possess the ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors and business owners.
Perform inspections on location at commercial building, in which there may be exposure to a variety of potential personal hazards in construction zones.
Requires physical exertion during on-site inspections, including the ability to continually stand, bend, stoop, reach, crouch and climb.
